   BoronHub Products Section

Boron sits on the dividing line between metals and non-metals in the periodic table of elements. This unique position endows it with semiconductor properties, ultra-hardness, neutron-absorbing capacity and high-temperature stability. It has thus become an irreplaceable key element for cutting-edge technologies including semiconductor doping, nuclear energy safety, aerospace thermal protection, and BNCT-targeted tumour therapy.

BoronHub’s product portfolio originates from our core technology of high-purity elemental boron, and extends sequentially toward high-value-added Boron compounds and functional materials. We supply products across a full purity gradient ranging from 2N industrial grade up to 6N semiconductor grade. Customization is available for parameters such as purity, particle size, crystal form and isotopic abundance, so customers do not need to compromise their process design by settling for sub-optimal materials.

Overview of Six Major Product Segments

Elemental Boron

Includes 6N (99.9999%) β-type crystalline Boron and 3N (99.9%) amorphous Boron powder. The crystalline grade features chemical inertness for semiconductor doping and super-hard-material synthesis, while the amorphous grade delivers high chemical activity for energetic-material applications and as a precursor for boride synthesis, addressing diverse industrial requirements.

Boron Isotopes

High-abundance Boron-10 (¹⁰B) and Boron-11 (¹¹B) product series are offered, covering isotopic elemental Boron, enriched boric acid, and enriched Boron-11 trifluoride. ¹⁰B serves as a core raw material for BNCT Boron-drug synthesis and chemical compensation control in nuclear reactors. ¹¹B acts as a specialty gas source for p-type ion implantation in advanced-node semiconductor manufacturing.

Boron Nitride

Hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN), also known as “white graphite”, features high-temperature lubricity, high thermal conductivity, electrical insulation and neutron-absorbing performance. It is deployed for AI-chip thermal management, high-temperature release agents, aerospace wave-transparent materials and neutron shielding in the nuclear industry. Cubic Boron nitride (CBN), second only to diamond in hardness, is the preferred material for precision polishing of SiC wafers and super-hard machining of ferrous metals.

Boron Carbide

One of the three hardest known materials. It combines low density (2.52 g/cm³), high melting point (2450 °C) and outstanding neutron-absorbing capability. Typical uses include nuclear-reactor control rods, ballistic-protection armour, super-hard abrasives and high-wear-resistant precision components.

Rare-Earth Hexaborides

Lanthanum Hexaboride (LaB₆) and Cerium Hexaboride (CeB₆) exhibit low work function, high electron-emission efficiency and excellent thermal stability. They are core hot-cathode materials for high-end scientific instruments such as SEM and TEM.

Transition-Metal Borides

Magnesium diboride (MgB₂) is a high-temperature superconductor with a critical temperature of approximately 39 K. Hafnium diboride (HfB₂) and zirconium diboride (ZrB₂) belong to the ultra-high-temperature ceramic (UHTC) family, applied in thermal-protection systems for hypersonic vehicles and extreme-temperature components.

This defines BoronHub’s product philosophy: starting from boron, built upon purity, oriented toward end-use applications. From atomic-scale characteristics to macroscopic performance, from standard-grade goods to custom-tailored solutions, we strive to be the most trusted one-stop partner for global customers in the field of Boron-based materials.
