99.9% Niobium Biboride(NbB₂) Cas No.12007-29-3
Niobium Biboride (NbB₂) is a high-covalency refractory ceramic material with a hexagonal crystal structure, belonging to the family of Ultra-High-Temperature Ceramics (UHTC). It has a melting point as high as 3050 °C and a density of approximately 6.97 g/cm³. It combines high hardness, good metallic-type electrical and thermal conductivity, outstanding resistance to molten-metal corrosion, superconductivity and irradiation resistance.
BoronHub supplies high-purity niobium diboride powder with purity up to 99.99%. XRD testing detects no impurity phases. The powder features a narrow particle-size distribution, irregular particle morphology and a dark-grey colour.
This product is widely used in advanced fine ceramics, superconducting materials, gold brazing fillers, nuclear-waste treatment and microelectronic manufacturing. It is a critical material for aerospace, nuclear engineering and high-end electronics industries.
