99.9% Tantalum Diboride (TaB₂) Cas No.12007-35-1
Tantalum diboride (TaB₂) is a ceramic material featuring high hardness, an ultra-high melting point and good electrical conductivity. It melts at approximately 2,900–3,040 °C, has a density of 9.14 g/cm³, and appears as grey, metallic-lustre crystals. It offers excellent oxidation resistance, chemical stability and corrosion resistance, while retaining good electrical and thermal conductivity. BoronHub supplies high-purity TaB₂ powder with purity up to 99.9% and above, no impurity phases detected by XRD, narrow particle-size distribution and customizable grades. The product is widely used in ultra-high-temperature ceramics (UHTCs), hard materials, composite reinforcements, spacecraft coatings, the electronics industry and civilian protective applications.
